OUR INSTRUCTORS
Ms. Simpson has been practicing massage for more than ten years. Her passion for sharing her talents as a massage therapist and then teaching was a natural progression into ownership of the school. Her goal is to continue to realize her dream of sharing her knowledge of alternative medicine, balance and massage to others. Ms. Simpson specializes in Deep tissue,Sports massage,Trigger Point Therapy,Swedish, Pregnancy, Reflexology, Reiki, and Lypo
Ms. Lowe has been working in the healing arts field for the past seven years performing Foot Zone Therapy, Reiki, Swedish and Pregnancy massage in addition to Raindrop Therapy, and Lypossage™ . She is a Reiki Master Teacher conducting classes at the school while maintaining a private practice
She received her training and California State Certificate as a Foot Zone Therapist from the Healing Oaks School of Massage (formerly the Thomas Institute of Massage)
As a Reiki program manager at the institute, she organizes community outreach opportunities for students of Reiki at Relay for Life events. Additionally, she volunteers at St John's Cancer Center in Oxnard, California and at the Simi Valley Senior Center in Simi Valley, California. She has also worked with hospice patients in the Conejo Valley and gives presentations and fundraisers for Ride-On Therapeutics Horsemanship.
Merna Russell has been a Massage Therapist and Foot Zone Therapist for the past five years. She graduated from Thomas Institute of Massage from Westlake Village, CA., receiving Certifications in Massage Therapy and Foot Zone Therapy, associated with The Academy of Foot Zone Therapy, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
These intensive programs demanded over 200 hours of hands on practice for both modalities before a license is granted. Merna has continued her education by studying other massage modalities from A to Z Massage Institute and from National Holistic Institutes, adding more educational hours to her experience, which she now has certifications in: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Geriactic, Lomi Lomi, Reiki Healing, Oncology Massage, and Foot Zone Therapy.

These classes are intensely informative, so come prepared to receive a great deal of information. I share my knowledge and experiences of Aromatherapy with you, from over 11 years of practice using essential oils in clinical settings as well as private practice, and, product formulation.
I am originally from London, England and that’s where I was initially trained in Clinical Aromatherapy, since the use of essential oils in Europe, especially France, has long been a traditional support method for improving the ‘terrain’ of the body, the holistic view , if you like
Vicki felt the winds of change and choose to follow, leaving the corporate world behind and following new passions. She is the West Coast Trainer for Baby's First Massage, a certified massage therapist and instructor. Modalities include massage, craniosacral therapy for all ages and stages in life (especially obstetrics), Touch 4 Health practioner, Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and uses minerals /stones and dowsing for balancing the physical and etheric. Learning new ideas/techniques and sharing with others is such fun!
Ms. Ross loves sharing her knowledge with others. Following the completion of her Bachelor’s degree at UC Davis in 2003, Jordana returned to the Conejo Valley and was drawn to attend massage school. She began delving further into the mysteries of the human body and the healing arts. Since then, Jordana has worked as a conduit of health as a medical massage therapist and nutritional counselor.At Healing Oaks School of Massage, she is excited to offer classes in Hot & Cold Stone Massage, Meditation, Yoga, Nutritional Counseling, and other Advanced Massage course.
